For those who wonder why I don't have much patience for voters who do not take the time to learn about the candidates and the issues, consider this:
A few years ago, my cousin ran for superior court judge against an established crooked judge in South Georgia. My cousin exposed this sitting judge for what she was. But, the judge was overwhelmingly voted back in office due to voter apathy and ignorance of the issues.
Within a year of the election the Georgia Judicial Qualifications Committee did what the voters were too inept to do. They removed this judge from the bench.
The lesson here is...voters should become familiar with the candidates and issues, or risk being ridiculed for their ignorance.
