Georgia v. Tisdale — Motions Hearing Tues. Oct. 4 at 10 a.m.

Post by Nydia Tisdale » September 29th, 2016, 4:00 pm

A pre-trial motions hearing in the case of State of Georgia v. Nydia Pinzón Tisdale is scheduled before Honorable Judge Bonnie C. Oliver on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in Courtroom C, Dawson County Superior Court, 25 Justice Way, Dawsonville, GA 30534.

Attorneys Bruce S. Harvey and Jeffery C. Talley represent defendant Nydia Tisdale pro bono in her criminal defense against charges of criminal trespass and obstruction of an officer resulting from her unlawful arrest by former Dawson County Sheriff’s deputy Captain Tony Wooten for video recording a Republican campaign rally at Burt’s Pumpkin Farm on August 23, 2014.

Tony Wooten lost his bid for Dawson County Sheriff in a July 26, 2016 runoff election to Jeff Johnson. Wooten resigned from the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office on August 23, 2016 — the two-year anniversary of #PumpkinGate.

This hearing is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC TO ATTEND. Please note, a Rule 22 Request to Record must be pre-approved by the Court to bring cameras into the courtroom. Requests may be emailed to Tammy Dills in the Dawson County Judge’s Office at TDills@dawsoncounty.org.
