Join Councilmembers Marcelo Zapata and Mike Palermo as they host the City's FIRST East Roswell Economic Development Forum, Wednesday, February 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the East Roswell Park Recreation Center, 9000 Fouts Road, Roswell, Georgia 30076.
The guest panel for this Forum has been announced as follows:
Moderating the event will be East Roswell resident and local business owner, Michael Levine. Mr Levine currently manages the executive search and relocation of companies seeking placement in the Atlanta metropolitan area. He has also been a featured speaker and trainer for many Corporations and Professional Groups in the area of performance enhancement.
Steve Stroud, Executive Director of Roswell Inc., a public-private partnership that drives economic development within the City of Roswell. Mr. Stroud will present the State of the Economy and current strategy being executed within the City.
Dr. Joseph Hacker, Department of Public Management and Policy at Georgia State University. Dr Hacker will present perspectives on how transportation, housing and commercial development may be coordinated and integrated to foster a sustainable corridor within East Roswell.
Paul Hirshberg, East Roswell Business Owner and Real Estate Investor. Mr Hirshberg will present his perspectives and vision given his local business experience and commercial real estate investments over the past 23 years in East Roswell.
Dr. David MacNair, Director of Laboratory Development, Georgia Tech. Dr McNair will present Hi-Tech commercial opportunities as destination anchors within East Roswell.
City Staff representing key departments will also be in attendance — including Mayor Jere Wood and City Administrator Kay Love.
Following the Panel's presentation, the Moderator will facilitate an extended question and answer session from the audience. Public feedback is strongly encouraged as our community works collectively to define the vision of what East Roswell will become.
