Hollie Manheimer serves as a Judge of the Magistrate Court of DeKalb County, Georgia.
She also maintains a general civil litigation legal practice. Preferred areas of practice include probation litigation, and the occasional civil rights case.
From 1996 to 2017, Manheimer served as the first Executive Director of the Georgia First Amendment Foundation.
In 2017, Manheimer received an Award of Excellence – Impact Award from The Atlanta Press Club.
She currently sits on the boards of the Georgia Bar Foundation, Georgia First Amendment Foundation, and Red and Black.
Manheimer is also active in the Long Island Forest neighborhood of Lake Oconee.
A graduate of Dartmouth College, Ms. Manheimer received her J.D. from Emory University School of Law and holds two masters’ degrees: one in English from New York University and one in Communications from Georgia State University.
