My name is David Abroms, and, uh, just to tell you real briefly about me.

I'm a CPA, uh, then became an entrepreneur. I started a business converting vehicles to run on clean, domestic, natural gas.

Uh, yes, Republicans do care about the environment, as well.

Um, then, uh, was a successful business. I was able to invest in my campaign, and I decided to do this because I see a broken political system. I see America in big trouble.

We are seeing in this election outside influencers coming in, and deciding for the people who they should vote for, and who should represent the sixth district in Congress — and it's very disturbing to me.

On the Democrat side, you have Nancy Pelosi and you have the Democrat Party choosing who voters should support on the Democratic side — and then what do we do in response?

We put out — er, not we — the Republicans in Washington — they put out ads accusing someone else running in this race for being tied to Osama bid Laden.

It's disgraceful. It's disgusting. It's everything that's wrong with politics — and we need to get these special interests out of our politics.

They are using the sixth district as a political football so that they can maintain their power in Washington, D.C.

I'm fed up with it. I'm sick of it. I'm going to stand up for it — wherever and whoever is wrong in Washington — even if it's my own party.

And, uh, I'm going to stand up for the people of the sixth district. I'm going to stand up for voters.

Thank you very much. I hope I can count on your support.

Hello, my name is David Abroms, uh, tell you real briefly about myself.

I'm a CPA by training. I was a tax accountant for about three years, and then I started a business converting vehicles to run on clean, domestic, natural gas — uh, so I did that for about six years, and, uh, now I've ventured into politics.

And the reason why I've decided to run in this race is because I think we have some serious challenges in this country.

I think that in Washington — we just mentioned about the low approval rating of Congress — and that's because there's too much fighting. There's not enough talking. There's not enough trying to actually trying to solve problems for the people of this country. It's all about politics and one-upping people.

Now I am a conservative. I believe in free markets, limited government, uh, I think the market forces are the best thing to improve the lot of the ordinary man.

Uh, Milton Friedman is probably one of my biggest mentors. I believe in these principles very deeply.

With that being said, in order to govern effectively it cannot be a blood sport. We have to be able to find ways that we can work together and solve these challenging problems in Washington.

Our debt is absolutely out-of-control, and, um, if we don't do something about that, if we don't do something about tax reform, if we don't do something about healthcare — these are serious problems — and we are going to leave the next generation worse off — and I am not prepared to do that.

I am prepared to go to Washington and stand up for liberty and, uh, fight for these principles that are so important to us, but also work together.

Thank you.
